Bude is the northernmost town in Cornwall, a seaside resort, which is nestled between Sandstone cliffs. The Atlantic beaches of Bude are among the best surfing places in the country, and while Newquay on the coast is associated with parties and festivals, Bude is rather a mature and laid back. Thus, it can be an interesting journey through the cities of North Cornwall, starting with a visit to the fishing village of Port Isaac, and then covering the cities of Newquay, Padstow, St. Ives and Bude. The distance from Port Isaac to Bude is 26 miles. One can get there by bus 460 line or by taxi in 35 minutes.
